The DCS378 20V MAX* XR Mid-Sized Bandsaw is the latest adaptation to Dewalt’s impressive Bandsaw lineup. Backed by user demand the DCS378 provides a more compact option for commercial Portable Bandsaw use. A Brushless Motor providing 535 MWO and 570 SFPM blade speed coupled with a 3-3/8″ x 3-3/8″ cut capacity gives you speed, power, and utility for an impressive 120 cuts through 12 gauge 1-5/8″ x 1-5/8″ Unistrut per charge** while averaging 5.1 seconds per cut*. As always Protection is also top of mind with an integrated blade cover to provide extra protection against blade injuries and keep the tool running at a high level longer by limiting debris inside the blade assembly. Every effort has been made for a superb user experience. With the addition of a LED light to illuminate the cutting area, tool free blade change and both variable speed trigger and dial, the DCS378 also gives you convenience, control and visibility. **Tested using 1-5/8 x 1-5/8″ 12 Gauge Strut using the DCB205 battery and a 18 TPI blade.
